Here goes nothing, I said to myself. As I enter the building, I was like wow! There were people walking, in a very corporate looking attitude. You know what I mean. Am I kidding myself? This is my very first job interview or the like. I confess that I was called for an interview twice and I didn't have the guts to show up. Can they get me in the no-show blacklist something for that? Just twice.
I Want To Write Well, it is written in the bulletin in the lobby and inspire me today. To be honest, I've been inspired by the numerous bloggers who can write well. Their sites are visited more than they go online. I have this dream that my blog will be featured at least once in news, or other major websites. Although I admit that I'm only new to this, I can tell you that I can work this on. I want to write well, I know that it'll take a long time to achieve it, still it's not impossible.
I walked into the HR lobby, registered myself for the examination. While waiting for the examination which is scheduled at 1pm, I got 30 minutes to compose myself. I've been thinking about getting in the interview and will be answering the cliche tell me about yourself. I'm not worrying about it. I can handle interviews...not! OMG! I will faint when I get into the interview. Ha! Nothing comes out of my mind at that moment.
Until they called us for the examinations. Wow! Am I really dead serious? We are a bunch of applicants! We almost filled a classroom liked testing center. Competitions? I never felt any because I think I don't stand a chance. They looked so professional and aged. I think I'm the youngest in the bunch. And if ever there were younger than me, I am sorry but they look older. Haha!
The examinations start. The test administrator handed us the answer sheet. Very familiar answer sheet, with red circles and boxes. Damn it! Feels like going to take the boards again. The examinations are composed of tests most concerned with grammar and construction. I was relieved when I saw computations to compensate with my not sure answers. Haha! Not to mention the essays, it lasted for almost 4 hours. I was brain squeezed.
I went home brain squeezed.
